Carol Lyon has shown her work at several juried art shows within Texas including the Official State Arts and & Crafts Fair, has won several gallery competitions, and has been featured in many venues such as McKinney Roughs Nature Center and Bastrop's Chamber of Commerce, Opera House, and public library, as well as being represented in Bastrop's Arts Guild Gallery.

Recent awards: 2nd place overall in Taylor's "Unearthed" show Feb. '08 and 1st place photography in Elgin's "Pearls" show Oct. '07.

• Carol Lyon is staff photographer for the Capital of Texas Zoo.                                                      Her work is used in all zoo advertising including print, billboard, and movie screen as well as gift shop cards and prints.
